Where this fits

Between a free complaint process and a lawyer.

Use ClaimCoach North when

You need to understand the denial and prepare your own appeal documents quickly.

Use OLHI when

You want a free complaint process after the insurer's internal appeal steps.

Use a lawyer when

You need legal advice, representation, negotiations, or litigation support.

A lawyer may be the right choice when you need legal advice or representation, but contingency fees often take 25–35% of back-pay. Free complaint processes can help in some cases, but may take 60–180 days and recommendations may be non-binding. ClaimCoach North sits between those options: $99–$249 CAD flat-fee document help for people who need clarity and a structured appeal draft.

A quiet document review workspace
Why isn't this free like OLHI?

OLHI is a free complaint service, and it can be a good option after you have gone through the insurer's internal review steps. ClaimCoach North helps earlier with the document work: understanding the denial, organizing the insurer's reasons, and preparing a structured appeal you can sign and send yourself. The flat fee supports secure Canadian hosting, bilingual service, privacy controls, and fast document preparation without taking a percentage of your benefits.

What's your refund policy?

Paid appeal services include a 30-day full refund window. After 30 days, you can still receive a full refund if you have not downloaded the appeal PDF, or a 50% refund within 60 days if you downloaded it but have not submitted it. If ClaimCoach North does not make your paid draft available within 7 business days after payment and intake completion, we refund you. Refunds are not based on the insurer's decision, because we do not control the insurer's review or promise a result. The Translator remains free.

Why are there no monthly plans during beta?

Most people arrive with one urgent denial, not a long-term subscription need. Beta focuses on flat-fee appeal packages so pricing is easier to understand and there is no recurring billing surprise. A monthly option may return after the first customer cohort shows a real need for ongoing document help.
